SEAT retailers will also be reopening for both Sales and Aftersales across the entire network from Monday 18th May.

Akin to other marques SEAT will be the reopening both Sales and Aftersales across its retail network. SEAT Ireland has been working with its Official Dealer and Authorised Service networks to adapt its facilities and processes, ensuring customer and employee health and safety takes priority as dealerships reopen and return to operations next week. As a consequence of the exceptional circumstances created by the COVID-19 crisis, SEAT Ireland has already put in place a series of measures to ensure the safety of customers as restrictions are being lifted next week.

Warranty Extension

SEAT Ireland has also announced an extension of the warranty period for its vehicles for a further three months. The warranty extension will facilitate SEAT customers whose warranty expired in the period between March 1st 2020 and May 31st 2020 who were unable to receive authorised SEAT services due to government restrictions imposed as a result of the coronavirus pandemic.

The three-month extension is free for SEAT customers and applies to contractual warranties for new vehicles.

Free Sanity System

The brand will be offering a free Sanity System vehicle clean to all customers at no cost as part of any new or used car collection and any service, maintenance or warranty visit to a SEAT workshop. The offer will be available across SEAT’s retail network in Ireland for a period of three months from Monday 18th of May.

The natural cleaning system, which regenerates and purifies the air within vehicles, is designed to provide confidence and peace of mind for customers who are returning to dealerships following the period of lockdown.

The system kills more than 99% of germs and bacteria present in the cockpit and air conditioning system in cars and is a powerful cleaning agent in the fight against allergies, asthma and infections because it destroys the microbial charge present in the air and on surfaces.

In addition, attractive offers are available at all SEAT retailers across the entire SEAT range from the Ibiza to the Irish Large SUV of the Year 2020, the 7-seat Tarraco.

Niall Phillips, Brand Director at SEAT Ireland commenting on the re-opening, said “We look forward to welcoming customers back to our retail network across the country from Monday 18th May and catering for their needs. The health and safety of our customers and staff is of great importance to us and we hope the introduction of the complementary cleaning service and warranty extension will provide our customers with peace of mind during this challenging time.
