Kia Ireland Appoint New Head of Marketing

Congratulations and welcome to Cathal Kealey, Kia Ireland’s new Head of Marketing and PR. Cathal replaces Aidan Doyle, who retires from the role in early October next.

Cathal joins the well-oiled KIA Ireland machine, bringing with him the extensive experienced gained in Product and Marketing Communications from management roles in VW, Skoda and most latterly as Head of Marketing with Citroen Ireland.

A delighted Cathal, speaking on his appointment commented, ‘This is an exciting time for the Irish automotive industry to be joining such an innovative brand. KIA have excelled in the area of electrification in recent years and with such a strong new product offensive in the pipeline, I have no doubt that they will continue to strengthen their place as one of the top automotive brands in Ireland over the coming years. I hope that I can assist the brand on this journey and very much look forward to the challenge ahead.”

Cathal is an Offaly native, a graduate of University of Limerick, now residing in Kildare with his wife and two daughters. A previous captain of the Kinnitty Senior Hurling Team, Kealey has now retired from his playing duties but is still a keen GAA enthusiast and also enjoys rugby, soccer, cycling and running.
