Bandon, the gateway to West Cork and a true vehicle hub for anyone seeking to
enhance their transport needs as they tackle roads that can vary from amusing to
demanding in just one corner. The name, Kevin O’Leary has etched his identity as
the supplier of numerous brands, since he began in 1963, retailing Opel, Mazda,
Honda, and Suzuki cars.
Adding to their motor-menu, Cedar Motors have just appointed Kevin O’ Leary
Group as retailers for Renault passenger and commercial vehicles, plus Dacia,
expanding the Kevin O’Leary Group’s brand portfolio and reinforcing its position
within the Irish motor retail market, and building on its existing strength across Cork
City and County and Tipperary.
A very pleased John O’Leary, Director, Kevin O’Leary Group, commented on their
appointment, “Securing the Renault and Dacia franchises for our Bandon dealership
represents an important step forward for our business. Both brands have a strong
reputation for innovation and value, and we look forward to bringing that offering to
our customers while continuing to grow our operations across the region.”
Directors, Kevin and John O’Leary see the appointment as a landmark moment for
West Cork, bringing Dacia to the region for the first time and marks a long-awaited
return for Renault. The new partnership forms part of the continued evolution of the
Renault and Dacia dealer network in Ireland, and market share for Renault
passenger vehicles, light commercial vehicles, and Dacia is expected to grow
substantially in the region as a result. Kevin O’Leary Group already operates the
Renault and Dacia franchises from its Clonmel dealership, and the addition of the
Bandon location further deepens its relationship with both brands.
Seamus Morgan, CEO of Cedar Motors Limited, said on the appointment, “We are
pleased to welcome Kevin O’Leary Bandon to the Renault and Dacia network. This
appointment reflects our commitment to strengthening our dealer presence and
ensuring customers have access to high-quality sales and aftersales services across
the country.”
