News: New Audi A5 Sportback priced for January 2017 delivery

Audi Ireland has announced Irish pricing and specs for its A5 Sportback all-new five-door coupé, available now with first deliveries expected in January 2017. 

The A5 Sportback will launch in Ireland with five engine variants, three TFSI and two TDI. Pricing for the diesel engine models starts at €47,350 for the 2.0 TDI 150 bhp SE; while petrol engine models start at €48,010 for the 2.0 TFSI 190 bhp SE. The range will also be available in a 2.0 TDI 190 bhp S tronic and a 2.0 TFSI 252 bhp S tronic option.

Originally launched in 2009, the A5 has been redesigned, the Sportback boasts a new exterior and thanks to innovative multi-material construction, the car weighs 15kg less than its predecessor model. The interior boasts 480 litres of luggage capacity.

The A5 Sportback comes equipped with as standard:  Xenon headlights with LED daytime running lights and LED rear lights, plus LED interior lights that illuminate key features.

This new model A5 contains the latest infotainment features, including Audi’s MMI navigation system with 7-inch colour display, Bluetooth and USB charging functionality, a dedicated smartphone interface for iOS and Android devices and a 3-month free trial of Audi Connect.  

Driver assistance systems include Audi pre-sense city, front and rear parking sensors, with Audi’s drive select dynamic handling system allowing the driver to select specific profiles ideally suited to their preferences and driving conditions.

The A5 Sportback S-Line trim includes additional features, such as LED headlights, a flat-bottomed steering wheel, leather-upholstered seats, 18-inch alloys and sports suspension.

Audi’s virtual cockpit is also available as an option on both trim lines. The fully digital instrument cluster, with various display options, projects information directly in front of the driver via a large high-resolution monitor with richly detailed graphics.
